Vertical Ladder Lifeline Systems

Vertical ladder lifeline systems allow the worker to safely move up and down the entire length of the vertical ladder lifeline.
Systems consist of a top and bottom brackets for anchoring off the cable that runs the full span of the ladder, intermediate supports (installed every 25 ft) and a cable grab that follows the worker up and down the lifeline. All systems includes a shock absorber.

Mechanical Safety Equipment Corp. manufactures four types of vertical ladder lifeline systems (from left to right):

1. Economy system (Model: LVS-ES) consists of two anchor points, intermediate supports, tension spring at the bottom and a cable grab with an attached shock absorber.

2. D-right system (Model: LVS-DS) consists of two anchor points, intermediate supports, mechanical reusable shock absorber at the top, a tension spring at the bottom and a cable grab.

3. Unitensioner system (Model: LVS-US) consists of two anchor points, intermediate supports, a mechanical reusable tensioning device and a shock absorber at the top and a cable grab.

4. Rescue system (Model: LVS-RS) consists of one anchor bracket at the bottom, a pulley assembly at the top and a redesigned 3-Way rescue and recovery winch which allows the worker to be rescued from the ground in case of a fall.
